Alan H. Silberman (Chicago), a former chair of the Section of Antitrust Law of the American Bar Association, has more than 40 years’ experience in antitrust and franchising litigation, counseling and related transactional representation. Robert T. Joseph (Chicago) was a past chair of the ABA Antitrust Section and is a recognized authority in antitrust and franchising law. Rochelle Spandorf (Los Angeles), was a former chair of the ABA Forum on Franchising, and has twice chaired the State Bar of California Franchise Law Committee. She practices in all aspects of business franchise and distribution counseling. John R.F. Baer (Chicago) was a member of the Governing Committee of the ABA Forum on Franchising. He is chair of the Illinois attorney general’s Franchise Advisory Board, edits the CCH Sales Representative Law Guide, and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the International Journal of Franchising Law. He has a broad transactions practice with expertise representing companies engaged in franchising and distribution. Robert H. King Jr. (Chicago), is a widely respected commercial litigator with more than 25 years of trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts nationwide. Carol Anne Been (Chicago) will serve on the Governing Committee of the ABA Forum on Franchising (Aug. 2007). She practices trademark and advertising law.

Messrs. Silberman, Joseph and Baer, Mr. Stephen Rovak (St. Louis), and Ms. Spandorf were selected for inclusion in the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, Franchise (2006). • Navigate clients through inspection and audit rights, and through reporting responsibilities;
• Recommend and review pricing strategies and practices; and review sales, advertising, and promotion programs;
• Assist with trademark and copyright issues;
• Handle bankruptcy and reorganization of distributors or franchises;
• Represent distributor or franchisee associations; and
• Resolve default and termination issues.
