New Article Offers Tips for How to Add Efficiency to Permitting

Greenville, Wis. -January 8, 2008 - In his first article, “Smoothing the Permitting Process: Tips to Reduce Roadblocks & Get Your Permits More Efficiently,” construction manager Rick Cline offers advice on how to get through the fickle construction permit process as quickly as possible. “When it comes to a build out project, permitting can either make or break a schedule,” says Cline. “There are many things an owner can do to keep things moving along.”

“The first and most important thing a client can do is their homework,” Cline offers. The “homework” he discusses in his article includes researching building codes and zoning requirements and getting to know the permitting process. He also mentions the importance of keeping a close eye on a project’s progress as well as what using a permit expediter entails.
